ALBAIK: Flourishing participation in the Saudi Labor Market exhibitions within the realm of job nationalization
HRH Prince Mishaal bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, lauded the efforts of ALBAIK during the opening of the Saudi Labor Market Exhibition; upon his visit to the company booth he addressed the ALBAIK teams commending them as the future and backbone of society going on to say: “This is your home your country; there’s no shame but shame –the youth are the potential and pride; on the hands of the future generation our country will continue to prosper.”
The Saudi Labor Market Exhibition officially opened on the 4th of April 2011 and for the third year in a row ALBAIK takes part in the exhibition showcasing its attractive work environment, competitive job opportunities and goals to enhance job nationalization within the organization.
“The Saudi Labor Market Exhibition is a key platform for organizations to meet directly with potential youth entering into the job market. This is the third year in a row that we’ve been a part of this function and have witnessed great response from potential candidates and talking to them about opportunities at hand within ALBAIK and future career developments,” stated Eng. Rami Abu Ghazaleh CEO of ALBAIK Food Systems. “We see our role as an integral component within the society and want to work hand in hand to further develop the field of food technology and restaurant services.”
“Its imperative that job opportunities are defined clearly showcasing the ambitious and structured career path development program allowing candidates a clear vision of what lays ahead starting from operational work within the restaurants all the way to the management positions within the overall organization,” continued Eng. Rami. “This is clearly apparent today at ALBAIK with our team members that have grown and developed within a supervisory and administrative leadership positions within ALBAIK.”
ALBAIK has been active within the Saudization programs currently underway in the Kingdom with the latest participation during the First Makkah Employment Forum that took place in Makkah Al Mukarramah and the Al Qunfuthah Employment Fair; where a number of potential candidates met with the team.
“We have undertaken vital steps concerning the matter of job nationalization and it’s a part of our national responsibility and commitment; that’s within the vision of national development under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. We are pleased that our level of Saudization in all aspects of our organization has reached 22%. Training and coaching is one of our pillars of success in supporting out talents in growth within the organization and since 2007 to date we’ve signed seven agreements with the Human Resource Development Fund to further promote and support the provision of employment opportunities at ALBAIK,” stated Eng. Rami Abu Ghazaleh.
ALBAIK’s sister company Aquat Food Production Plant, the producer of all ALBAIK’s food requirements, today’s plays a leadership role with 30% in job nationalization and has implemented a strategic plan for training and job enhancement that also focuses on women’s employment. Today there are over 200 Saudi women working in the assembly lines at Aquat supervised by Saudi female specialists in food technology and sciences.
