‘With ALBAIK You are the House Hero’ summer program celebrates its 10th anniversary

The 'With ALBAIK You Are The House Hero' programs 130+ participants in the girls program received their certificates at the Quran Memorization Organization this year with the attendance of their family members, teachers, program partners and supporters including Prince Majid bin Abdulaziz Society for Development and Social Services and the Quranic Memorization Organization.

This year the program was hosted at the Dar Al Dia Quran Memorization School where students took part in a number of training sessions that included training sessions in Décor; Arts & Crafts; Basic Health Advice; Personal Grooming and Etiquette; Basics in Home Economics; Physical Fitness; Safety & Prevention, First Aid Procedures and this year gardening was added to the curriculum.

As part of the training programs for self development and awareness Injaz Saudi Arabia launched a Personal Life Planning session for the students in the House Hero program.

This year’s program, with the celebration of 10 years since inception, brought about the creativity of students with their initiative in launching a cookbook of their favorite foods.  Each student filled in a recipe sheet with the ingredients, means of preparation, picture of the recipe and the nutritional value.  All the recipes were compiled into a booklet and copied on CDs distributed to all the program participants.

The finale event, attended by the mothers of the participating students featured an interactive program agenda before the certificates were distributed.  The finale event included sketches by the students in a skit manner to feature what was learned during the summer training session.  At the end of the event the guests were invited to tour the gallery area featuring all the arts and crafts that the students had worked on which included the making of tables, frames and mirrors and lampshades.

Students that excelled in the program were then refunded their full registration fee and also received certificates of participation and accredited certificates for the first aid and civil defense courses.
